My name is Dayna. I'm in my late twenties and hail from Vancouver, BC in the great land of Canada. I've been married for 6 years to my high school sweetheart, Malcolm, who makes video games for a living. We have two adorable redheaded small people. C, our boy, is 2, and loves all things train, dinosaur, and shark. S, our girl, is a baby and loves putting things in her mouth and making noises.
I like video games of all kinds (except strategy. Strategy games suck), both Star Wars AND Star Trek- though I concede that Wars is the superior franchise- and start many conversations with "So this one time, when I met Jennifer Hale..." I have somehow managed to successfully balance being a stellar parent with being an obsessive nerd, and here is where I write about it in a less than modest, yet witty fashion.
I suppose you'd call this a 'mixed bag' type of blog, basically I kept ranting on my facebook until people said "start a blog!" enough times for me to listen. I like to write about my opinions on matters large and small, from parenting issues to social justice concerns to video game opinions.
From time to time, I also review products and host giveaways, so keep your eyes on this page so as not to miss out on cool stuff!
